copper carnival abstraction with solvent dye colorant on 24” diameter copper panel with 16 inch central mirror.

construction details: a 27” diameter copper is adhered to a 1/4” deep plywood base; the copper is notched and wrapped over the wooden edge and tacked into place on the reverse. the beveled mirror hangs on the front of the disc from a french cleat [for safe moving and cleaning]; the entire unit wall mounts using provided french cleat hardware. the rendered patina’s final sealant is Hydroclear Satin by Sculpt Nouveau, providing the best protection for the solvent dye rendering.
