inspired by nature + color

I am inspired by the natural world around me. I find particular beauty in the intricate patterns and textures of leaves, and I enjoy using them as a means to create abstract and evocative images on copper.

I use an intuitive approach to develop patina on the copper surface, including layering and texturing leaves and found objects with traditional patinas to create depth and variety of color.

Additionally, I am enameling on copper. I love the intensity of color and fired surface textures. Check out new works in the home decor and collage totem sections that incorporate enameling with patina.
